       Senator Bennett moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment to Amendment (947302) (with title
    2  amendment)
    3  
    4         Between lines 1864 and 1865
    5  insert:
    6         Section 40. Upon completion of the Department of Health’s
    7  project, as required by Specific Appropriation 1682 of the 2008
    8  2009 General Appropriations Act, to develop passive strategies
    9  for nitrogen reduction which complement the use of conventional
   10  onsite wastewater treatment systems, the department must submit
   11  a final report to the Governor, the President of the Senate, and
   12  the Speaker of the House of Representatives before proceeding
   13  with any nitrogen-reduction activities.

   17         And the title is amended as follows:
   18         Delete line 2101
   19  and insert:
   20         form requirements; requiring the Department of Health
   21         to submit a final report to the Governor and
   22         Legislature on its project to develop nitrogen
   23         reduction strategies before proceeding with any
   24         nitrogen reduction activities; providing an effective
   25         date.
