       The Committee on Education Pre-K - 12 (Sobel) recommended the
       following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Between lines 224 and 225
    4  insert:
    5  (e) If a student commits a felony on a member of the school's
    6  staff, the district shall assign the student to another school.
    7

    9         And the title is amended as follows:
   10         Delete lines 21 - 22
   11  and insert:
   12  will pose a threat to school safety; providing for the removal
   13  of a student who commits a felony on school staff;
