       The Committee on Transportation (Baker) recommended the
       following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment to Amendment (935710) (with title
    2  amendment)

    4         Delete lines 172 - 179
    5  and insert:
    6         (4) The corporation organized under chapter 946 may
    7  manufacture license plates, validation stickers, and decals, as
    8  well as temporary tags, disabled hang tags, vessel decals, and
    9  fuel use decals, for the Department of Highway Safety and Motor
   10  Vehicles as provided in this chapter and chapter 327. The
   11  Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles is not required
   12  to obtain competitive bids in order to contract with the
   13  corporation.
