    1                        A bill to be entitled                      
    2         An act relating to state employees; providing for the
    3         resolution of economic collective bargaining issues at
    4         impasse between the State of Florida and certified
    5         bargaining units of state employees; providing an
    6         effective date.

    8  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:
    9  
   10         Section 1. All economic collective bargaining issues for
   11  which negotiations have reached an impasse for the 2009-2010
   12  fiscal year between the State of Florida and the legal
   13  representatives of the certified bargaining units for state
   14  employees shall be resolved pursuant to the instructions
   15  provided in the General Appropriations Act and the relevant
   16  provisions of any legislation enacted to implement the General
   17  Appropriations Act for the 2009-2010 fiscal year.
   18         Section 2. This act shall take effect July 1, 2009.
