       The Committee on Banking and Insurance (Richter) recommended the
       following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)

    3         Between lines 977 and 978
    4  insert:
    5  
    6         Section 6. Section 627.0655, Florida Statutes, is amended
    7  to read:
    8         627.0655 Policyholder loss or expense-related premium
    9  discounts.—An insurer or person authorized to engage in the
   10  business of insurance in this state may include, in the premium
   11  charged an insured for any policy, contract, or certificate of
   12  insurance, a discount based on the fact that another policy,
   13  contract, or certificate of any type has been purchased by the
   14  insured from the same insurer or insurer group, or, for policies
   15  issued or renewed before January 1, 2010, from the Citizens
   16  Property Insurance Corporation created under s. 627.351(6) if
   17  the same insurance agent is servicing both policies, or for
   18  policies issued or renewed before January 1, 2010, from an
   19  insurer that has removed the policy from the Citizens Property
   20  Insurance Corporation if the same insurance agent is servicing
   21  both policies.

   24         And the title is amended as follows:
   25         Delete line 55
   26  and insert:
   27  
   28         certain reinsurance; amending s. 627.0655, F.S.;
   29         discontinuing authorization for a premium discount for
   30         a policyholder having multiple policies from Citizens
   31         Property Insurance Corporation or a policy that has
   32         been removed from the corporation by another insurer;
   33         amending s. 627.351, F.S.;
