The Committee on Governmental Oversight and Accountability
(Ring) recommended the following:
1 Senate Amendment to Amendment (359802) (with title

4 Between lines 1649 and 1650
5 insert:
6 Section 21. Subsection (2) of section 288.95155, Florida
7 Statutes, is amended to read:
8 288.95155 Florida Small Business Technology Growth
9 Program.—
10 (2) Enterprise Florida, Inc., shall establish a separate
11 small business technology growth account in the Florida
12 Technology Research Investment Fund for purposes of this
13 section. Moneys in the account shall consist of appropriations
14 by the Legislature, proceeds of any collateral used to secure
15 such assistance, transfers, fees assessed for providing or
16 processing such financial assistance, grants, interest earnings,
17 and earnings on financial assistance. Enterprise Florida, Inc.
18 may advance from the account up to $600,000 in the aggregate to
19 the Institute for Commercialization of Public Research for its
20 operations. Subject to the authority and limitations in
21 subsections (3) and (4), Enterprise Florida, Inc. may grant
22 awards of assistance to companies under the auspices of the
23 Institute which are seeking to commercial technologies pursuant
24 to programs of the Institute.

29 and insert:
30 reporting requirement; amending s. 288.95155, F.S.;
31 authorizing Enterprise Florida, Inc. to advance a
32 specified amount of money from a business technology
33 growth account to the Institute for Commercialization
34 of Public Research; authorizing Enterprise Florida,
35 Inc. to grant awards; providing an effective date.
