       The Committee on Regulated Industries (Jones) recommended the
       following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment to Amendment (210332) (with directory and
    2  title amendments)
    3  
    4         Between lines 617 and 618
    5  insert:
    6         (a) With respect to an applicant for a certificate, the
    7  initial application fee may not exceed $150, and, if an
    8  examination cost is included in the application fee, the
    9  combined amount may not exceed $350. The initial certification
   10  fee and the renewal fee may not exceed $250 $200. However, any
   11  applicant who seeks certification under this part by taking a
   12  practical examination must pay as an examination fee the actual
   13  cost incurred by the department in developing, preparing,
   14  administering, scoring, score reporting, and evaluating the
   15  examination, if the examination is conducted by the department.
