recommended the following:
1 Senate Amendment (with directory and title amendments)

4 insert:
5 (1) Except as otherwise authorized pursuant to s. 1003.429,
6 beginning with students entering their first year of high school
7 in the 2007-2008 school year, graduation requires the successful
8 completion of a minimum of 24 credits, an International
9 Baccalaureate curriculum, or an Advanced International
10 Certificate of Education curriculum. Students must be advised of
11 the Advanced Placement, International Baccalaureate, Advanced
12 International Certificate of Education, career academy
13 coursework that leads to national industry certification, and
14 dual enrollment courses available, as well as the availability
15 of course offerings through the Florida Virtual School. Students
16 must also be advised of eligibility requirements for state
17 scholarship programs and postsecondary admissions.
