       Senator King moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with directory and title amendments)
    2  
    3         Between lines 587 and 588
    4  insert:
    5         (i) Florida-West Africa Institute (Florida Agricultural and
    6  Mechanical University, University of North Florida, and Florida
    7  State Community College at Jacksonville).
    8         Section 10. Subsection (1) of section 1001.61, Florida
    9  Statutes, is amended to read:
   10         1001.61 Community college boards of trustees; membership.—
   11         (1) Community college boards of trustees shall be comprised
   12  of five members when a community college district is confined to
   13  one school board district; seven members when a community
   14  college district is confined to one school board district and
   15  the board of trustees so elects; and not more than nine members
   16  when the district contains two or more school board districts,
   17  as provided by rules of the State Board of Education. However,
   18  Florida State Community College at Jacksonville shall have an
   19  odd number of trustees.
