       Senator King moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with directory and title amendments)
    2  
    3         Between lines 43 and 44
    4  insert:
    5         (7) This section does not apply to:
    6         (a) A performer engaged in a professional exhibition or a
    7  person preparing to participate or participating in a regatta,
    8  race, marine parade, tournament, or exhibition held in
    9  compliance with s. 327.48; or
   10         (b) An operator of a personal watercraft between the ages
   11  of 14 and 16, inclusive, who has completed a state-approved
   12  boating safety course or is in possession of a boating safety
   13  certificate on or before July 1, 2009.
