The oral ocular pharmaceutical agents that 6 may be placed on the formulary for use by a certified 7 optometrist are limited to the following categories: analgesics; 8 antibacterial; anti-inflammatory; anti-allergy; antiviral; and 9 anti-glaucoma. Oral anti-glaucoma osmotic agents may be placed 10 on the formulary for use by a certified optometrist only in the 11 case of a patient emergency. Oral antifungal agents may not be 12 placed on the formulary for use by a certified optometrist.
