       The Committee on Judiciary (Fasano) recommended the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment 
    2  
    3         Delete lines 157 - 159
    4  and insert:
    5  (5) The Department of Corrections shall maintain exclusive
    6  control and responsibility for the custody and transportation of
    7  an alien who is accepted into the federal deportation program
    8  until the alien is physically transferred to federal custody.
