1	A bill to be entitled
2	An act relating to the regulation of drugs; providing a
3	short title; amending s. 499.005, F.S.; prohibiting the
4	sale, purchase, manufacture, delivery, importation,
5	administration, and distribution of vaccines containing
6	organic or inorganic mercury compounds in excess of a
7	certain amount; providing an effective date.

9	Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

11	Section 1.  This act may be cited as the "Vaccine Safety
12	Act."
13	Section 2.  Subsection (30) is added to section 499.005,
14	Florida Statutes, to read:
15	499.005  Prohibited acts.--It is unlawful for a person to
16	perform or cause the performance of any of the following acts in
17	this state:
18	(30)  The sale, purchase, manufacture, delivery,
19	importation, administration, or distribution of any vaccine that
20	contains any organic or inorganic mercury compound in excess of
21	0.1 microgram per milliliter.
22	Section 3.  This act shall take effect July 1, 2010.
