    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)

    3         Between lines 1468 and 1469
    4  insert:
    5         Section 28. Subsection (6) is added to section 627.733,
    6  Florida Statutes, to read:
    7         627.733 Required security.—
    8         (6) The state or an agency of local government may not
    9  impose or enforce any regulation upon the owner of a license to
   10  operate a motor vehicle insured under this section which
   11  restricts in any way the sale or other transfer of the license
   12  or the shares of the corporation to another person or public or
   13  private entity.

   19         Delete line 138
   20  and insert:

   22         amending s. 627.733, F.S.; prohibiting the state or an
   23         agency of local government from imposing or enforcing
   24         any regulation upon the owner of a license to operate
   25         a motor vehicle which restricts in any way the sale or
   26         other transfer of the license or the shares of the
   27         corporation to another person or public or private
   28         entity; providing an effective date.
