    1                        A bill to be entitled                      
    2         An act relating to adoption; repealing s. 63.042(3),
    3         F.S., relating to the prohibition against adoption by
    4         a homosexual; providing an effective date.
    5         
    6  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:
    7         
    8         Section 1. Subsection (3) of section 63.042, Florida
    9  Statutes, is repealed.
   10         Section 2. This act shall take effect July 1, 2009.
