       The Committee on Community Affairs (Altman) recommended the
       following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment 
    2  
    3         Delete lines 263 - 267
    4  and insert:
    5         (j) A county, municipality, special district as defined in
    6  s. 189.403, or other political subdivision of the state that
    7  owns or operates a public-use airport as defined in s. 332.004
    8  is exempt from this section when performing repairs or
    9  maintenance on the airport’s buildings, structures, or public
   10  construction works using its own services, employees, and
   11  equipment.
