    1                        A bill to be entitled                      
    2         An act relating to community college student fees;
    3         amending s. 1009.23, F.S.; authorizing the Board of
    4         Trustees of Santa Fe College to establish a
    5         transportation fee; providing an effective date.
    6         
    7  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:
    8         
    9         Section 1. Paragraph (b) of subsection (12) of section
   10  1009.23, Florida Statutes, is redesignated as paragraph (c), and
   11  a new paragraph (b) is added to that subsection, to read:
   12         1009.23 Community college student fees.—
   13         (b) In addition to the fees authorized in this section, the
   14  Board of Trustees of Santa Fe College may establish a
   15  transportation fee.
   16         Section 2. This act shall take effect July 1, 2009.
