       The Committee on Governmental Oversight and Accountability
       (Jones) recommended the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Between lines 54 and 55
    4  insert:
    5         Section 4. Section 455.2035, Florida Statutes, is amended
    6  to read:
    7         455.2035 Rulemaking authority for professions not under a
    8  board.—The department may adopt rules pursuant to ss. 120.536(1)
    9  and 120.54 to implement the regulatory requirements of any
   10  profession within the department’s jurisdiction which does not
   11  have a statutorily authorized regulatory board. By December 1,
   12  2009, the department shall adopt rules that provide protection
   13  and remedies for existing and unregulated online activities that
   14  lack oversight and consumer protection under chapter 550.

   16         And the title is amended as follows:
   17         Delete line 16
   18  and insert:
   19         repeal of the program; amending s. 455.2035, F.S.;
   20         requiring the department to adopt rules related to
   21         certain unregulated online activities; providing an
   22         effective date.
