    2         An act relating to fictitious names; repealing s.
    3         15.16(6), F.S., relating to a conditional waiver by
    4         the Department of State of the requirement that an
    5         applicant to do business under a fictitious name
    6         advertise the intention to register such fictitious
    7         name in a newspaper in the county in which the
    8         principal place of business will be located; providing
    9         an effective date.

   11  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:
   12  
   13         Section 1. Subsection (6) of section 15.16, Florida
   14  Statutes, is repealed.
   15         Section 2. This act shall take effect July 1, 2009.
