    1                        A bill to be entitled                      
    2         An act relating to road designations; designating
    3         Veterans Memorial Highway and Sergeant Ricky Lord Road
    4         in Gilchrist County; directing the Department of
    5         Transportation to erect suitable markers; providing an
    6         effective date.

    8  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:
    9  
   10         Section 1. Veterans Memorial Highway designated; Department
   11  of Transportation to erect suitable markers.—
   12         (1) That portion of State Road 26 between the Levy County
   13  line and the Alachua County line in Gilchrist County is
   14  designated as “Veterans Memorial Highway.”
   15         (2) The Department of Transportation is directed to erect
   16  suitable markers designating Veterans Memorial Highway as
   17  described in subsection (1).
   18         Section 2. Sergeant Ricky Lord Road designated; Department
   19  of Transportation to erect suitable markers.—
   20         (1) That portion of State Road 26 between the Levy County
   21  line and County Road 313 in Gilchrist County is designated as
   22  “Sergeant Ricky Lord Road.”
   23         (2) The Department of Transportation is directed to erect
   24  suitable markers designating Sergeant Ricky Lord Road as
   25  described in subsection (1).
   26         Section 3. This act shall take effect July 1, 2010.
