    2         An act relating to road designations; designating
    3         Doolittle Raiders Highway in Okaloosa and Walton
    4         Counties; designating Beach Highway in Walton County;
    5         designating K. Earl Durden Highway in Bay County;
    6         directing the Department of Transportation to erect
    7         markers; providing an effective date.

    9  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:
   10  
   11         Section 1. Doolittle Raiders Highway designated; Department
   12  of Transportation to erect suitable markers.—
   13         (1)That portion of State Road 285 in Okaloosa and Walton
   14  Counties which is located north of College Boulevard in
   15  Niceville is designated as “Doolittle Raiders Highway.”
   16         (2)The Department of Transportation is directed to erect
   17  suitable markers designating Doolittle Raiders Highway as
   18  described in subsection (1).
   19         Section 2. Beach Highway designated; Department of
   20  Transportation to erect suitable markers.—
   21         (1)That portion of U.S. 331 from the Alabama state line to
   22  U.S. 98 in Walton County is designated as “The Beach Highway.”
   23         (2)The Department of Transportation is directed to erect
   24  suitable markers designating The Beach Highway as described in
   25  subsection (1).
   26         Section 3. K. Earl Durden Highway designated; Department of
   27  Transportation to erect suitable markers.—
   28         (1)That portion of State Road 79 in Bay County from U.S.
   29  Highway 98 to the B.V. Buchanan Bridge in West Bay is designated
   30  as “K. Earl Durden Highway.”
   31         (2)The Department of Transportation is directed to erect
   32  suitable markers designating K. Earl Durden Highway as described
   33  in subsection (1).
   34         Section 4. This act shall take effect July 1, 2010.
