| 10 | Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida: |
| 11 |
|
| 12 | Section 1. Section 20.058, Florida Statutes, is created to |
| 13 | read: |
| 14 | 20.058 Residence of state agency heads and other state |
| 15 | officials.-Every head of a state agency as defined in s. |
| 16 | 20.059(2); every member of the Parole Commission; every member |
| 17 | of the Florida Public Service Commission; and the executive |
| 18 | director of the Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, |
| 19 | appointed after July 1, 2010, shall, within 90 days after his or |
| 20 | her appointment to office, establish permanent residency in or |
| 21 | within 50 miles of Leon County. |
| 22 | Section 2. Section 20.059, Florida Statutes, is created to |
| 23 | read: |
| 24 | 20.059 Travel expenses of state agency heads and other |
| 25 | state officials; reporting requirements.- |
| 26 | (1) On September 1, 2010, and on a quarterly basis |
| 27 | thereafter, the head of each state agency listed in subsection |
| 28 | (2), each member of the Parole Commission, each member of the |
| 29 | Florida Public Service Commission, and the executive director of |
| 30 | the Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission shall submit a |
| 31 | report to the President of the Senate and the Speaker of the |
| 32 | House of Representatives regarding any job-related travel |
| 33 | expenses incurred by, and reimbursed to, the state agency head |
| 34 | or official during the preceding quarter. The report shall |
| 35 | provide information for each trip taken, including the purpose |
| 36 | and justification for the trip; the amount of hotel expenses, if |
| 37 | any; the distance traveled; the dates of the trip; the method of |
| 38 | travel and related expenses; and the total amount of travel |
| 39 | expenses reimbursed by the agency. |
| 40 | (2) For the purposes of this section, the term "state |
| 41 | agency" includes the: |
| 42 | (a) Agency for Health Care Administration. |
| 43 | (b) Agency for Persons with Disabilities. |
| 44 | (c) Agency for Workforce Innovation. |
| 45 | (d) Department of Business and Professional Regulation. |
| 46 | (e) Department of Children and Family Services. |
| 47 | (f) Department of Community Affairs. |
| 48 | (g) Department of Corrections. |
| 49 | (h) Department of Education. |
| 50 | (i) Department of Elderly Affairs. |
| 51 | (j) Department of Environmental Protection. |
| 52 | (k) Department of Health. |
| 53 | (l) Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles. |
| 54 | (m) Department of Juvenile Justice. |
| 55 | (n) Department of Law Enforcement. |
| 56 | (o) Department of the Lottery. |
| 57 | (p) Department of Management Services. |
| 58 | (q) Department of Revenue. |
| 59 | (r) Department of State. |
| 60 | (s) Department of Transportation. |
| 61 | (t) Department of Veterans' Affairs. |
| 62 | Section 3. This act shall take effect July 1, 2010. |
