    1                        A bill to be entitled                      
    2         An act relating to the University of South Florida;
    3         creating s. 1004.387, F.S.; authorizing a doctor of
    4         pharmacy degree program at the university; providing
    5         for the program to be physically located on the new
    6         campus of the University of South Florida Polytechnic;
    7         authorizing the university to develop and implement
    8         the program within existing facilities until a
    9         pharmacy facility is constructed on the new campus of
   10         the University of South Florida Polytechnic; providing
   11         an effective date.

   13  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:
   14  
   15         Section 1. Section 1004.387, Florida Statutes, is created
   16  to read:
   17         1004.387 Doctor of pharmacy degree program at the
   18  University of South Florida.—A doctor of pharmacy degree program
   19  is authorized at the University of South Florida. The program
   20  shall be physically located on the new campus of the University
   21  of South Florida Polytechnic. The university is authorized to
   22  develop and implement the program within existing facilities
   23  only until the construction of a pharmacy facility on the new
   24  campus of the University of South Florida Polytechnic is
   25  completed, which shall house the doctor of pharmacy degree
   26  program.
   27         Section 2. This act shall take effect upon becoming a law.
