| 2 | An act relating to saltwater fishing; waiving certain fees |
| 3 | for commercial saltwater fishing licenses, saltwater |
| 4 | products dealer's licenses, and certain vessel licenses |
| 5 | and administrative fees for a specified period of time; |
| 6 | providing an effective date. |

| 8 | Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida: |
| 9 |

| 10 | Section 1. (1) Annual fees for resident and nonresident |
| 11 | commercial saltwater fishing licenses authorized in chapter 379, |
| 12 | Florida Statutes, and chapter 94-419, Laws of Florida, |
| 13 | including, but not limited to, saltwater products licenses and |
| 14 | applicable endorsements and tags, are waived for license |
| 15 | renewals for the fishing year beginning July 1, 2010, and ending |
| 16 | June 30, 2011. All other general or local laws and |
| 17 | administrative rules relating to such licenses remain in effect. |
| 18 | (2) Annual fees for resident and nonresident wholesale and |
| 19 | retail saltwater products dealer's licenses authorized in s. |
| 20 | 379.362, Florida Statutes, are waived for license renewals for |
| 21 | the fishing year beginning July 1, 2010, and ending June 30, |
| 22 | 2011. All other provisions of that section remain in effect. |
| 23 | (3) Annual fees for vessel licenses authorized in s. |
| 24 | 379.354(7), Florida Statutes, and the administrative fees |
| 25 | authorized in s. 379.352(5), Florida Statutes, applicable to |
| 26 | saltwater fishing are waived for license renewals for the |
| 27 | fishing year beginning July 1, 2010, and ending June 30, 2011. |
| 28 | All other provisions of those sections remain in effect. |
| 29 | Section 2. This act shall take effect upon becoming a law. |
