       Senator Detert moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment 
    2  
    3         Delete lines 39 - 63
    4  and insert:
    5         (c) A capital “V” shall be exhibited on the driver’s
    6  license of a veteran upon the payment of an additional $1 fee
    7  for the license and the presentation of a copy of the person’s
    8  DD Form 214, issued by the United States Department of Defense.
    9         (2) The department may require other pertinent information
   10  to be exhibited on a driver’s license.
   11         Section 2. Subsection (8) of section 322.051, Florida
   12  Statutes, is amended to read:
   13         322.051 Identification cards.—
   14         (8)(a) The department shall, upon receipt of the required
   15  fee, issue to each qualified applicant for an identification
   16  card a color photographic or digital image identification card
   17  bearing a fullface photograph or digital image of the
   18  identification cardholder. Notwithstanding chapter 761 or s.
   19  761.05, the requirement for a fullface photograph or digital
   20  image of the identification cardholder may not be waived. A
   21  space shall be provided upon which the identification cardholder
   22  shall affix his or her usual signature, as required in s.
   23  322.14, in the presence of an authorized agent of the department
   24  so as to ensure that such signature becomes a part of the
   25  identification card.
   26         (b) A capital “V” shall be exhibited on the identification
   27  card of a veteran upon the payment of an additional $1 fee for
   28  the license and the presentation of a copy of the person’s DD
   29  Form 214, issued by the United States Department of Defense.
