10 And the ballot statement is amended as follows:

12 and insert:
13 INCREASING THE AGE AT WHICH JUSTICES AND JUDGES MAY NO
14 LONGER SERVE IN A JUDICIAL OFFICE AND INCREASING THE
15 QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE OFFICES OF CIRCUIT COURT AND COUNTY COURT
16 JUDGES.—The State Constitution currently prohibits a justice or
17 judge from serving in a judicial office after attaining the age
18 of seventy years except upon temporary assignment or to complete
19 a judicial term, if one-half of the term has been served. This
20 proposed amendment increases the age after which a justice or
21 judge may no longer serve to seventy-five years of age. However,
22 a justice or judge who has attained the age of seventy-five
23 years may continue to serve upon temporary assignment or to
24 complete a judicial term. In addition, the State Constitution
