       The Committee on Health Regulation (Garcia) recommended the
       following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Delete line 16
    4  and insert:
    5  for coverage under Medicaid, subject to federal rules. If
    6  federal rules do not allow for the presumptive eligibility
    7  contemplated in this subsection, the Agency for Health Care
    8  Administration shall seek federal waiver authority to implement
    9  such presumptive eligibility.

   12         And the title is amended as follows:
   13         Delete line 6
   14  and insert:
   15         infant; requiring the Agency for Health Care
   16         Administration to seek a federal waiver under certain
   17         conditions; providing an effective date.
