    2         An act relating to swimming pools and spas; creating
    3         s. 514.0315, F.S.; extending the deadline for public
    4         swimming pools and spas to install a gravity drainage
    5         system; providing an effective date.

    7  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:
    8  
    9         Section 1. Section 514.0315, Florida Statutes, is created
   10  to read:
   11         514.0315 Required safety features for public swimming pools
   12  and spas.—Public swimming pools and spas that are on a direct
   13  suction system shall have a 1-year extension following the
   14  initial compliance date to install a gravity drainage system, as
   15  required by department rule.
   16         Section 2. This act shall take effect July 1, 2011.
