       Senator Montford moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Between lines 1878 and 1879
    4  insert:
    5         Section 32. Notwithstanding any law to the contrary, the
    6  State Board of Education may not revise the accountability
    7  system, including the school grading system, until the K-12
    8  state standards, Next Generation Sunshine State Standards,
    9  common core standards, and related assessments, including the
   10  FCAT, end-of-course assessments, and other metrics have been in
   11  place for a period of at least 3 fiscal years.

   14         And the title is amended as follows:
   15         Delete line 133
   16  and insert:
   17         education; prohibiting the State Board of Education
   18         from revising the accountability system until certain
   19         standards and assessments are in place for a period of
   20         at least 3 fiscal years; providing effective dates.
