       Senator Evers moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Delete lines 69 - 76
    4  and insert:
    5  
    6         (a) It is the intent of the Legislature that proper
    7  management of onsite sewage treatment and disposal systems is
    8  paramount to the health, safety, and welfare of the public. It
    9  is further the intent of the Legislature that the department
   10  shall administer an evaluation program to ensure the operational
   11  condition of the system and identify any failure with the
   12  system.
   13         (b) It is the intent of the Legislature that where a
   14

   16  And the title is amended as follows:

   18         Delete lines 3 - 4
   19  and insert:
