       Senator Latvala moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Between lines 54 and 55
    4  insert:
    5         Section 5. The Department of Environmental Protection may
    6  not issue any permit for a new Class I landfill that will be
    7  located:
    8         (1) Within 5 miles of the Withlacoochee River and that will
    9  be located within the Northern Tampa Bay Water Use Caution Area
   10  designated by rule by the Southwest Florida Water Management
   11  District; or
   12         (2) Within the Withlacoochee River watershed in Lake
   13  County.

   16         And the title is amended as follows:
   17         Delete line 7
   18  and insert:
   19         made by the act; prohibiting the Department of
   20         Environmental Protection from issuing a Class I
   21         landfill permit to be located in certain specified
   22         areas; providing an effective date.
