       Senator Rich moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Delete lines 1404 - 1432
    4  and insert:
    5         Section 8. Effective October 1, 2011, a child or young
    6  adult who is a participant in the Road-to-Independence Program
    7  may continue in the program as it exists through December 31,
    8  2011. Effective January 1, 2012, a child or young adult who is a
    9  participant in the program shall transfer to the program
   10  services provided in this act and his or her monthly stipend may
   11  not be reduced, the method of payment of the monthly stipend may
   12  not be changed, and the young adult may not be required to
   13  change his or her living arrangement. These conditions shall
   14  remain in effect for a child or young adult until he or she
   15  ceases to meet the eligibility requirements under which he or
   16  she entered the Road-to-Independence Program. A child or young
   17  adult applying or reapplying for the Road-to-Independence
   18  program on or after October 1, 2011, may apply for program
   19  services only as provided in this act.
