       The Committee on Health Regulation (Altman) recommended the
       following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Between lines 2655 and 2656
    4  insert:
    5         (25) SPECIAL PAYMENTS.—The agency may make special Medicaid
    6  payments authorized in the General Appropriations Act to
    7  physicians employed by or under contract with the state’s
    8  medical schools and to the health professionals under the
    9  supervision of those physicians, and may use intergovernmental
   10  transfers or certified public expenditures to serve as the state
   11  share of such payments.

   16  and insert:
