       The Committee on Health Regulation (Garcia) recommended the
       following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment 
    2  
    3         Between lines 3388 and 3389
    4  insert:
    5         6. Contracts with certified registered nurse anesthetists
    6  to provide anesthesia services in rural and medically
    7  underserved areas. Notwithstanding any other provision of law,
    8  such services shall be provided in collaboration with a
    9  physician licensed under chapter 458, chapter 459, or chapter
   10  461 or a dentist licensed under chapter 466.
