       The Committee on Budget (Flores) recommended the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Between lines 5933 and 5934
    4  insert:
    5         Section 81. Subsection (4) of section 766.202, Florida
    6  Statutes, is amended to read:
    7         766.202 Definitions; ss. 766.201-766.212.—As used in ss.
    8  766.201-766.212, the term:
    9         (4) “Health care provider” means any hospital, ambulatory
   10  surgical center, or mobile surgical facility as defined and
   11  licensed under chapter 395; a birth center licensed under
   12  chapter 383; any person licensed under chapter 458, chapter 459,
   13  chapter 460, chapter 461, chapter 462, chapter 463, part I of
   14  chapter 464, chapter 466, chapter 467, part XIV of chapter 468,
   15  or chapter 486; a clinical lab licensed under chapter 483; a
   16  health maintenance organization certificated under part I of
   17  chapter 641; a blood bank; a plasma center; an industrial
   18  clinic; a renal dialysis facility; or a professional association
   19  partnership, corporation, joint venture, or other association
   20  for professional activity by health care providers.

   23         And the title is amended as follows:
   24         Delete line 399
   25  and insert:
   26         requiring notice to low-income pool recipients;
   27         amending s. 766.202, F.S.; redefining the term “health
   28         care provider” to include persons licensed to provide
   29         orthotics, prosthetics, and pedorthics;
