    2         A resolution commending Stetson University on its
    3         hosting of the 40th Annual Floyd M. Riddick Model
    4         United States Senate.

    6         WHEREAS, on March 17-19, 2011, Stetson University will host
    7  the 40th Annual Floyd M. Riddick Model United States Senate on
    8  its campus in Deland, and
    9         WHEREAS, the Stetson University Model United States Senate
   10  is a unique and creative program designed to duplicate the
   11  legislative atmosphere of the United States Senate, and
   12         WHEREAS, the Stetson University Model United States Senate
   13  gives young people a real-world experience in the operation of
   14  the legislative branch of our national government, NOW,
   15  THEREFORE,

   17  Be It Resolved by the Senate of the State of Florida:

   19         That Stetson University is commended for hosting the 40th
   20  Annual Floyd M. Riddick Model United States Senate.
