       The Committee on Commerce and Tourism (Gaetz) recommended the
       following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment to Amendment (609550) 
    2  
    3         Delete lines 1146 - 1149
    4  and insert:
    5         (l) Proof that the electors of the county in a countywide
    6  referendum have approved limited gaming at a resort in the
    7  county before the application deadline has been established by
    8  the commission for any district. However, a referendum is not
    9  required in any county where slot machine gaming as defined in
   10  s. 551.102(8) is currently conducted within a county.
