   24         Miami-Dade County; designating Corporal Michael J.
   25         Roberts Parkway in Hillsborough County; designating
   26         the Florida Highway Patrol Trooper Sgt. Nicholas G.
   27         Sottile Memorial in Highlands County; designating Hugh
   28         Anderson Boulevard in Miami-Dade County; directing the
   29         Department of Transportation to erect suitable
   30         markers; providing an effective date.

   32  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:
   33  
   34         Section 1. Veterans Memorial Highway designated; Department
   35  of Transportation to erect suitable markers.—
   36         (1)That portion of State Road 19 in Putnam County between
   37  U.S. Highway 17 (State Road 15) and Carriage Drive in Palatka is
   38  designated as “Veterans Memorial Highway.”
   39         (2)The Department of Transportation is directed to erect
   40  suitable markers designating Veterans Memorial Highway as
   41  described in subsection (1).
   42         Section 2. Duval County Law Enforcement Memorial Overpass
   43  designated; Department of Transportation to erect suitable
   44  markers.—
   45         (1)The Interstate 295/State Road 9A overpass (Bridge Nos.
   46  720256 and 720347) over Interstate 10/State Road 8 in Duval
   47  County is designated the “Duval County Law Enforcement Memorial
   48  Overpass.”
   49         (2)The Department of Transportation is directed to erect
   50  suitable markers designating the Duval County Law Enforcement
   51  Memorial Overpass as described in subsection (1).
   52         Section 3. SP4 Thomas Berry Corbin Memorial Highway
   53  designated; Department of Transportation to erect suitable
   54  markers.—
   55         (1) That portion of U.S. Highway 19/27A/98/State Road 55
   56  between the Suwannee River Bridge and N.E. 592nd Street/Chavous
   57  Road/Kate Green Road in Dixie County is designated as “SP4
   58  Thomas Berry Corbin Memorial Highway.”
   59         (2) The Department of Transportation is directed to erect
   60  suitable markers designating SP4 Thomas Berry Corbin Memorial
   61  Highway as described in subsection (1).
   62         Section 4. U.S. Navy BMC Samuel Calhoun Chavous, Jr.,
   63  Memorial Highway designated; Department of Transportation to
   64  erect suitable markers.—
   65         (1) That portion of U.S. Highway 19/98/State Road 55
   66  between N.E. 592nd Street/Chavous Road/Kate Green Road and N.E.
   67  170th Street in Dixie County is designated as “U.S. Navy BMC
   68  Samuel Calhoun Chavous, Jr., Memorial Highway.”
   69         (2) The Department of Transportation is directed to erect
   70  suitable markers designating U.S. Navy BMC Samuel Calhoun
   71  Chavous, Jr., Memorial Highway as described in subsection (1).
   72         Section 5. Marine Lance Corporal Brian R. Buesing Memorial
   73  Highway designated; Department of Transportation to erect
   74  suitable markers.—
   75         (1) That portion of State Road 24 between County Road 374
   76  and Bridge Number 340053 in Levy County is designated as “Marine
   77  Lance Corporal Brian R. Buesing Memorial Highway.”
   78         (2) The Department of Transportation is directed to erect
   79  suitable markers designating Marine Lance Corporal Brian R.
   80  Buesing Memorial Highway as described in subsection (1).
   81         Section 6. United States Army Sergeant Karl A. Campbell
   82  Memorial Highway designated; Department of Transportation to
   83  erect suitable markers.—
   84         (1) That portion of U.S. Highway 19/98/State Road 55/S.
   85  Main Street between N.W. 1st Avenue and S.E. 2nd Avenue in Levy
   86  County is designated as “United States Army Sergeant Karl A.
   87  Campbell Memorial Highway.”
   88         (2) The Department of Transportation is directed to erect
   89  suitable markers designating United States Army Sergeant Karl A.
   90  Campbell Memorial Highway as described in subsection (1).
   91         Section 7. U.S. Army SPC James A. Page Memorial Highway
   92  designated; Department of Transportation to erect suitable
   93  markers.—
   94         (1) That portion of U.S. Highway 27A/State Road
   95  500/Hathaway Avenue between State Road 24/Thrasher Drive and
   96  Town Court in Levy County is designated as “U.S. Army SPC James
   97  A. Page Memorial Highway.”
   98         (2) The Department of Transportation is directed to erect
   99  suitable markers designating U.S. Army SPC James A. Page
  100  Memorial Highway as described in subsection (1).
  101         Section 8. Mardi Gras Way designated; Department of
  102  Transportation to erect suitable markers.—
  103         (1) That portion of State Road 824 between I-95 and State
  104  Road A1A in Broward County is designated as “Mardi Gras Way.”
  105         (2) The Department of Transportation is directed to erect
  106  suitable markers designating Mardi Gras Way as described in
  107  subsection (1).
  108         Section 9. West Park Boulevard designated; Department of
  109  Transportation to erect suitable markers.—
  110         (1) That portion of State Road 7 between Pembroke Road and
  111  County Line Road in Broward County is designated as “West Park
  112  Boulevard.”
  113         (2) The Department of Transportation is directed to erect
  114  suitable markers designating West Park Boulevard as described in
  115  subsection (1).
  116         Section 10. Deputy Hal P. Croft and Deputy Ronald Jackson
  117  Memorial Highway designated; Department of Transportation to
  118  erect suitable markers.—
  119         (1) That portion of State Road 100 in Union County from the
  120  Bradford County line to the Columbia County line is designated
  121  “Deputy Hal P. Croft and Deputy Ronald Jackson Memorial
  122  Highway.”
  123         (2) The Department of Transportation is directed to erect
  124  suitable markers designating Deputy Hal P. Croft and Deputy
  125  Ronald Jackson Memorial Highway as described in subsection (1).
  126         Section 11. Deputy Jack A. Romeis Road designated;
  127  Department of Transportation to erect suitable markers.—
  128         (1) That portion of State Road 26A in Gainesville, Alachua
  129  County, between West University Avenue and S.W. 25th Street, is
  130  designated “Deputy Jack A. Romeis Road.”
  131         (2) The Department of Transportation is directed to erect
  132  suitable markers designating Deputy Jack A. Romeis Road as
  133  described in subsection (1).
  134         Section 12. Senator Javier D. Souto Way designated;
  135  Department of Transportation to erect suitable markers.—
  136         (1) That portion of State Road 976/Bird Road between S.W.
  137  87th Ave and the Palmetto Expressway Ramp in Miami-Dade County
  138  is designated as “Senator Javier D. Souto Way.”
  139         (2) The Department of Transportation is directed to erect
  140  suitable markers designating Javier D. Souto Way as described
  141  subsection (1).
  142         Section 13. Nona and Papa Road designated; Department of
  143  Transportation to erect suitable markers.—
  144         (1) That portion of the San Juan Road Extension in
  145  Anastasia State Park in St. Johns County is designated as “Nona
  146  and Papa Road.”
  147         (2) The Department of Transportation is directed to erect
  148  suitable markers designating Nona and Papa Road as described
  149  subsection (1).
  150         Section 14. Walter Francis Spence Parkway designated;
  151  Department of Transportation to erect suitable markers.—
  152         (1) That portion of State Road 293 from the Mid-Bay Bridge
  153  Toll plaza north of Choctawhatchee Bay to its intersection with
  154  State Highway 85 in Okaloosa County is designated as “Walter
  155  Francis Spence Parkway.”
  156         (2) The Department of Transportation is directed to erect
  157  suitable markers designating Walter Francis Spence Parkway as
  158  described subsection (1).
  159         Section 15. Beaches and Rivers Parkway designated;
  160  Department of Transportation to erect suitable markers.—
  161         (1) That portion of State Route 87 from its intersection
  162  with US98 northward to its intersection of U.S.90 in Santa Rosa
  163  County is designated the “Beaches and Rivers Parkway.”
  164         (2) The Department of Transportation is directed to erect
  165  suitable markers designating Beaches and Rivers Parkway as
  166  described subsection (1).
  167         Section 16. Section 24 of chapter 2010-230, Laws of
  168  Florida, is amended to read:
  169         Section 24. Miss Lillie Williams Boulevard designated;
  170  Department of Transportation to erect suitable markers.—
  171         (1) That portion of N.W. 79th Street between N.W. 6th
  172  Avenue and N.W. 7th E. 12th Avenue in Miami-Dade County is
  173  designated as “Miss Lillie Williams Boulevard.”
  174         (2) The Department of Transportation is directed to erect
  175  suitable markers designating Miss Lillie Williams Boulevard as
  176  described in subsection (1).
  177         Section 17. Section 45 of chapter 2010-230, Laws of
  178  Florida, is amended to read:
  179         Section 45. Father Gerard Jean-Juste Street designated;
  180  Department of Transportation to erect suitable markers.—
  181         (1) That portion of N.W. 54th Street in Miami-Dade County
  182  between N.W. 2nd Avenue and N.E. N.W. 3rd Avenue in Little Haiti
  183  is designated “Father Gerard Jean-Juste Street.”
  184         (2) The Department of Transportation is directed to erect
  185  suitable markers designating Father Gerard Jean-Juste Street as
  186  described in subsection (1).
  187         Section 18. Corporal Michael J. Roberts Parkway designated;
  188  Department of Transportation to erect suitable markers.—
  189         (1) That portion of U.S. 41/State Road 45/Nebraska Ave from
  190  County Road 584/Waters Avenue to State Road 580/Busch Boulevard
  191  is designated as “Corporal Michael J. Roberts Parkway.”
  192         (2) The Department of Transportation is directed to erect
  193  suitable markers designating Corporal Michael J. Roberts as
  194  described subsection (1).
  195         Section 19. Florida Highway Patrol Trooper Sgt. Nicholas G.
  196  Sottile Memorial designated; Department of Transportation to
  197  erect suitable markers.—
  198         (1) Milepost 22.182 on U.S. 27 in Highlands County is
  199  designated as “Florida Highway Patrol Trooper Sgt. Nicholas G.
  200  Sottile Memorial.”
  201         (2) The Department of Transportation is directed to erect
  202  suitable markers designating the Florida Highway Patrol Trooper
  203  Sgt. Nicholas G. Sottile Memorial as described subsection (1).
  204         Section 20. Hugh Anderson Boulevard designated; Department
  205  of Transportation to erect suitable markers.—
  206         (1) That portion of Biscayne Boulevard from N.E. 88th
  207  Street to N.E. 105th Street in Miami Shores Village in Miami
  208  Dade County is designated as “Hugh Anderson Boulevard.”
  209         (2) The Department of Transportation is directed to erect
  210  suitable markers designating the Hugh Anderson Boulevard as
  211  described subsection (1).
  212         Section 21. This act shall take effect July 1, 2011.
