       The Committee on Criminal Justice (Dean) recommended the
       following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Delete lines 199 - 203
    4  and insert:
    5  accrue at 15 percent per annum from the date on which suit was
    6  filed. Where applicable, payment may be secured by seizure of
    7  any vehicles used or operated for the benefit of any elected
    8  officeholder or official found to have violated this section if
    9  not paid within 72 hours after the order's filing.
