       Senator Sachs moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Between lines 333 and 334
    4  insert:
    5         (8) If a court of competent jurisdiction finds that an
    6  entity or person obligated to collect taxes under this section
    7  knowingly and with fraudulent intent failed to remit taxes to
    8  the county, the taxes due and owing shall be trebled.

   11         And the title is amended as follows:
   12         Delete line 9
   13  and insert:
   14         providing construction; providing that if a court of
   15         competent jurisdiction finds that an entity or person
   16         obligated to collect taxes under this section
   17         knowingly and with fraudulent intent failed to remit
   18         taxes to the county, the taxes due and owing shall be
   19         trebled; amending s. 212.03, F.S.;
