3     Conference Committee Amendment (with title amendment)
4     Remove everything after the enacting clause and insert:
5     Section 1.  Section 16.61, Florida Statutes, is repealed.
6     Section 2.  Section 943.0415, Florida Statutes, is created
7to read:
8     943.0415  Cybercrime Office.-There is created within the
9Department of Law Enforcement the Cybercrime Office. The office
10may investigate violations of state law pertaining to the sexual
11exploitation of children which are facilitated by or connected
12to the use of any device capable of storing electronic data.
13     Section 3.  All powers, duties, functions, records,
14personnel, property, pending issues and existing contracts,
15administrative authority, and unexpended balances of
16appropriations, allocations, and other funds for the
17administration of the Cybercrime Office are transferred by a
18type two transfer, as defined in s. 20.06(2), Florida Statutes,
19from the Department of Legal Affairs to the Department of Law
20Enforcement.
21     Section 4.  This act shall take effect July 1, 2011.

34of the Cybercrime Office from the Department of Legal
35Affairs to the Department of Law Enforcement; providing an
36effective date.
