    1                        A bill to be entitled                      
    2         An act relating to fire-fighting equipment; exempting
    3         such equipment from certain motor vehicle size and
    4         weight restrictions; providing an effective date.

    6  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:
    7  
    8         Section 1. The provisions of chapter 316, Florida Statutes,
    9  relating to height, width, weight, length, and load restrictions
   10  for motor vehicles do not apply to any motor vehicle and
   11  attached apparatus that is designed for use and used by a fire
   12  department, independent special fire control district, or
   13  volunteer fire department, or when such motor vehicle and
   14  attached apparatus is being operated by a manufacturer or sales
   15  organization for the purpose of sale, demonstration, exhibit, or
   16  delivery to a fire department, independent special fire control
   17  district, or volunteer fire department.
   18         Section 2. This act shall take effect July 1, 2011.
