       The Committee on Rules (Negron) recommended the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment 
    2  
    3         In title, delete lines 22 - 27
    4  and insert:
    5         WHEREAS, the Palm Beach County School Board
    6         unanimously passed a resolution in support of settling
    7         the lawsuit that was filed in this case, tendered
    8         payment of $100,000 to Carl Abbott, in accordance with
    9         the statutory limits of liability set forth in s.
   10         768.28, Florida Statutes, and does not oppose the
   11         passage of this claim bill in favor of Carl Abbott in
   12         the amount of $1,900,000, as structured, NOW,
   13         THEREFORE,
