       The Committee on Education Pre-K - 12 (Wise) recommended the
       following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment 
    2  
    3         Delete lines 165 - 166
    4  and insert:
    5  employee at least once a year, except that a newly hired
    6  classroom teacher must be evaluated at least twice in the first
    7  year of teaching in the school district.
