       The Committee on Higher Education (Lynn) recommended the
       following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with directory and title amendments)
    2  
    3         Delete lines 21 - 22
    4  and insert:
    5         (i) Gulf Coast State Community College, which serves Bay,
    6  Franklin, and Gulf Counties.
    7         (t) Pensacola State Junior College, which serves Escambia
    8  and Santa Rosa Counties.
    9         (v) St. Johns River State Community College, which serves
   10  Clay, Putnam, and St. Johns Counties.
   11         (bb) Valencia State Community College, which serves Orange
   12  and Osceola Counties.
   13         Section 2. Paragraph (b) of subsection (5) of section
   14  288.8175, Florida Statutes, is amended to read:
   15         288.8175 Linkage institutes between postsecondary
   16  institutions in this state and foreign countries.—
   17         (5) The institutes are:
   18         (b) Florida-Costa Rica Institute (Florida State University
   19  and Valencia State Community College).

   23         And the directory clause is amended as follows:
   24         Delete lines 12 - 13
   25  and insert:
   26         Section 1. Paragraphs (i), (t), (v), and (bb) of subsection
   27  (3) of section 1000.21, Florida Statutes, are amended to read:

   30         And the title is amended as follows:
   31         Delete lines 2 - 4
   32  and insert:
   33         An act relating to community colleges; amending s.
   34         1000.21, F.S.; renaming Gulf Coast Community College
   35         as “Gulf Coast State College”; renaming Pensacola
   36         Junior College as “Pensacola State College”; renaming
   37         St. Johns River Community College as “St. Johns River
   38         State College”; renaming Valencia Community College as
   39         “Valencia State College”;
