    1                        A bill to be entitled                      
    2         An act relating to pain-management clinics; amending
    3         ss. 458.3265 and 459.0137, F.S.; authorizing counties
    4         and municipalities to adopt certain regulations of
    5         pain-management clinics; providing an effective date.

    7  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:
    8  
    9         Section 1. Subsection (6) is added to section 458.3265,
   10  Florida Statutes, to read:
   11         458.3265 Pain-management clinics.—
   12         (6) LOCAL GOVERNMENT REGULATIONS.—A county or municipality
   13  may adopt any regulation of pain-management clinics which is
   14  consistent with or more stringent than the regulation of such
   15  clinics as provided by general law.
   16         Section 2. Subsection (6) is added to section 459.0137,
   17  Florida Statutes, to read:
   18         459.0137 Pain-management clinics.—
   19         (6) LOCAL GOVERNMENT REGULATIONS.—A county or municipality
   20  may adopt any regulation of pain-management clinics which is
   21  consistent with or more stringent than the regulation of such
   22  clinics as provided by general law.
   23         Section 3. This act shall take effect July 1, 2011.
