       The Committee on Criminal Justice (Evers) recommended the
       following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Delete lines 76 - 83
    4  and insert:
    5         (c) This subsection does not apply to the purchase, trade,
    6  or transfer of rifles or shotguns by a resident of this state
    7  when the resident makes such purchase, trade, or transfer from a
    8  licensed importer, licensed manufacturer, or licensed dealer in
    9  another state.
