       Senator Storms moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment 
    2  
    3         Between lines 237 and 238
    4  insert:
    5         (VI) If a surplus lines insurer increases the rate on any
    6  removed policyholder more than 10 percent above the rate the
    7  policyholder would have received had they remained in the
    8  corporation on the policy removal date, the surplus lines
    9  insurer must provide a notice on a separate page in at least 14
   10  point type within the annual policy renewal notice as follows:
   11  
   12         “THE RATES FOR THIS POLICY ARE NOT REGULATED BY ANY
   13         STATE AGENCY. YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO RETURN TO CITIZENS
   14         PROPERTY INSURANCE COMPANY AT ANY TIME. PLEASE CONTACT
   15         YOUR AGENT FOR MORE INFORMATION.”
