Senator Lynn moved the following:
1 Senate Amendment (with title amendment)

3 Delete lines 251 - 303
4 and insert:
5 Section 2. Subsection (1) of section 39.205, Florida
6 Statutes, is amended to read:
7 39.205 Penalties relating to reporting of child abuse,
8 abandonment, or neglect.—
9 (1) A person who is required to report known or suspected
10 child abuse, abandonment, or neglect and who knowingly and
11 willfully fails to do so, or who knowingly and willfully
12 prevents another person from doing so, commits is guilty of a
13 felony misdemeanor of the third first degree, punishable as
14 provided in s. 775.082, or s. 775.083, or s. 775.084. A judge
15 subject to discipline pursuant to s. 12, Art. V of the Florida
16 Constitution is shall not be subject to criminal prosecution if
17 when the information was received in the course of official
18 duties.
