       The Committee on Education Pre-K - 12 (Altman) recommended the
       following:
       
    1         Senate Substitute for Amendment (587252) 
    2  
    3         Delete lines 278 - 283
    4  and insert:
    5  workers, career specialists, and school psychologists. Certified
    6  school counselors shall perform only the duties and functions as
    7  provided by law and may not be used as support staff for
    8  administrative duties, including, but not limited to,
    9  coordinating, administering, or monitoring academic testing and
   10  testing programs, working bus or cafeteria lines, or substitute
   11  teaching.
